Trip to Aveiro

We planned for you one of the nicest trips toone of the most romantic Portuguese cities.

Surrounded by salt-flats, beaches, lagoons and incredible colourful little houses, here you will be able to enjoy the view next to the watercourse and discover the city on board of a typical boat called “Moliceiro”.

Then you will have the opportunity to learn how to make a traditional sweet from Portugal called Ovos-Moles, made with egg yolks and sugar, and the best part is: you can taste them afterwards!! :D

To finish things off, we will take you around the city’s best spots and end the trip at a fisherman’s village called “Costa Nova” known for its beautiful striped houses. If you are brave enough, you will be able to soak your feet in the ocean at the beach.

09h00: Meeting point at Reitoria

10h30: Arrival to Aveiro

11h00: 13h00 - Boat trip/Workshop of ovos-moles

13h00: Free time for lunch

14h30 - 16h30: City tour

17h00: Visit to Costa Nova Village and beach

19h00: Departure to Porto

Registrations start Tuesday, October 23rd. The ESN Office is open from 14:30 to 18:00 and if you want, you can register two friends but you need their ESNcard number and you need to pay their fee.  Refunds are available until 1 week before the trip. For a refund, you need to send an e-mail to refunds@esnporto.org.
