Our office is the main point of contact with Erasmus students. There you can get your ESNcard, pay for activities and collect refunds. You can find us at Rua de Olivença 27, 4000-369 Porto.

The office is usually open Monday to Friday, from 14:30 to 18:00. During Welcome Month it also opens during some mornings.

Yes, you can, but your friend needs to bring your ESNcard (a photo of the ESNcard also works) and the money for the event, if that's the case.

For events priced below 5€, the refund is made only at the ESN Porto office, but please request it through the form first.

If you are unable to attend, you can also try exchanging your ticket with another ESNcard holder. Keep in mind that your spot is only secured after you have paid for it, and each ticket admits one person only. Swaps are between you and the other person: ESN Porto isn't responsible for them, and a refund is always paid to whoever originally bought the ticket.

We allow participants to exchange tickets with other ESNcard holders. To get into the event, you need to present your ESNcard and a valid ticket, be it yours or someone else's. Keep in mind that tickets are single use only. Swaps are between you and the other person: ESN Porto isn't responsible for them, and a refund is always paid to whoever originally bought the ticket.

Not this time, sorry — sold-out events don't have a waiting list, and the app stops taking registrations once the spots are gone. Spots only come back when someone passes their ticket on, so keep an eye on the event page and ask around in the community.

We ask you to register on the website anyway, so we can better accommodate everyone who is going and provide the best event possible. After you register, you only need to show up.

It depends. Most of our events are meant for Erasmus students who hold an ESNcard, but some non-paid events may allow non-ESNcard holders. For more information, check the page of the specific event.

You are eligible for an ESNcard if you belong to one of the following groups: Erasmus+ students, Erasmus+ trainees, Erasmus+ international degree incoming students, international incoming students or trainees on a mobility programme other than Erasmus+, international undergraduate or postgraduate full degree students, and ESC volunteers (formerly EVS).

To get your ESNcard, come to our office (Rua de Olivença 27, 4000-369 Porto) and bring a printed passport-style photo of you and 20€ in cash.

The ESNcard is valid for 1 year.

First, create an account on esncard.org and activate your card by adding its number. If you had another ESNcard before, you can simply add the new number to your existing account. After that, you are ready to go. You can check all the discounts on esncard.org and on the ESN Porto website. As long as your ESNcard has not expired, you can use it for all ESNcard discounts across Europe.

To register for our activities (ESN Porto activities), it's required to have a valid ESNcard made in Porto.

You can only get the ESNcard at the ESN Porto office, so you need to be in Porto to get it. When you buy the ESNcard, you receive the card number by email so you can start using the discounts, but you won't be able to benefit from the Ryanair discount before arriving in Porto.

Yes, you can pay online and then just pick your card up at our office (Rua de Olivença 27, Porto). The card always needs to be collected in person.

No, the payment confirmation e-mail is automatic, but the ESNcard code takes a little longer because it is not an automatic process. In a hurry? Just come to the office: if your code hasn't been assigned yet, it will be assigned on the spot when you collect your card.

Yes. ESN events are for ESNcard holders: no card, no event. That's exactly what the card is for.

The partnerships and discounts work in over 40 countries. But events are local: the ESN Porto card gives you access to ESN Porto events. If you live in another city, get the card from your nearest ESN section (someone in Braga should get ESN Minho’s card, for example). If there is no section near you, get it from ESN Portugal.

ESN Porto can provide you with a Vodafone Yorn X 10GB SIM card. With it, you get 10GB of mobile data for 2.75€ per week during the first 3 months, and for 4.99€ per week after that.
